Aiyedatiwa Disband Boards Of Key Parastatals, Commissions

The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the dissolution of the boards of several state parastatals and commissions with immediate effect.

The decision was announced in a statement issued in Akure by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Affected agencies include the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, and the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.

The dissolution also affects Education Secretaries in the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, whose tenures have expired.

All affected chairmen, commissioners, board members, and Education Secretaries have been directed to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

According to the statement, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to the outgoing officials for their service, dedication, and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure.
